Who is Florian?
I’m Florian Tirnovan, a deaf comedian, producer and creator from Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in a deaf family where sign language and deaf culture were a natural part of everyday life. Those experiences have shaped who I am, how I see the world and much of the work I create today.
I’ve always been driven by curiosity and a desire to challenge myself. Whether it’s launching a new project, stepping onto a stand-up stage for the first time or performing in a new country, I’ve rarely been the person who chooses the safest path. I enjoy exploring new ideas, testing my limits and seeing where they lead.
What started as a passion for creating sketches grew into FlowTV, one of Sweden’s largest sign language media platforms, with more than 110,000 followers and over 500 original sketches. Since then, I’ve expanded into standup comedy, theatre, television, workshops and international productions.
Today, I perform for both deaf and hearing audiences, produce original content and collaborate with organisations across Sweden and beyond. Through humour, storytelling and creativity, I aim to entertain, connect people and challenge perspectives.
No matter the project, I’m always looking for the next challenge, the next audience and the next story worth telling.
